The Chair’s Dinner and Young Leader Conference are important events to the DEC – the dinner honors our Board Chair and supports the long-term financial stability of the Club. The YL Conference supports the Young Leader Program and the DEC Career Readiness Academy.

The 2025 Chair’s Dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Elevate at One Campus Martius (Detroit, MI).
The Chair’s Dinner is the DEC’s annual fundraiser, hosted every summer by the DEC’s Board Chair. The evening’s festivities include a reception, dinner, and silent auction. This fundraiser is always a lively night enjoyed by all.
Sponsor benefits include tickets, signage, and exclusive networking invitations.
Packages range from $5,000 to $50,000.

The Young Leader Conference is a professional development opportunity uniquely designed by Young Leaders for Young Leaders (under 40 years of age).
Attendees experience powerful keynotes, impactful breakout sessions and extensive networking throughout the day. DEC Board Members and Conference Sponsors are invited to attend the afterglow at the end of the Conference.
