This one-day conference is designed by Young Leaders (YL) exclusively for Young Leaders!
Attendees experience powerful keynotes, impactful breakout sessions, and extensive networking throughout the day. DEC board members and conference sponsors are invited to attend the afterglow at the end of the conference.

Are you a leader who challenges the status quo? Have you forged your own path outside traditional leadership models—whether through grassroots organizing, entrepreneurship, collective decision-making or other innovative approaches?
We’re looking for dynamic speakers to present at the Detroit Economic Club Young Leader Conference (YLC)! Whether you’re leading from the margins, pioneering new leadership frameworks, or driving change in unconventional ways, we want to hear from YOU!
Local and national experts from multiple disciplines are invited to propose engaging professional development topics to present breakout sessions (40 minutes).
The deadline for all submissions is 5:00 PM ET on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
